The overview display of the medical data in the patient organizer/patient viewer is a list or tree display.

For each aspect you can define whether the aspect is displayed in tree or list form.

Tree Display

If you wish to map a hierarchy in an aspect, you should use the tree display. You structure your tree by integrating grouping nodes (e.g. time node, etc.).

Recommendation Recommendation

We recommend you use the tree display for large aspects with many object types, as you can then achieve better clarity of the displayed data by structuring the tree.

You structure the tree display of medical data in the aspect as follows:

List Display

If you wish to map a compact aspect with only a few object types, you should use the list display. In this case the list display offers the following advantages:

  • The layout of an aspect in list display offers more possibilities in relation to filter criteria, sorting, etc.. You can use additional selection options by using filter criteria.

  • Lists require less space and offer a more compact display of the patient record.

    Caution Caution

    You should note that you cannot sensibly integrate time, case, or problem nodes into aspects in list display.

Example

In May of the previous year, the patient had a lung x-ray and the findings from this should be in your hospital.

You define a chronological aspect in which the information is classified by month. In the subtree for the months, you integrate a folder for documents (Documents medical object type). This folder contains the radiological findings.
