You can enhance the column selection of the overview display of medical data to select data in the patient organizer/patient viewer using append structures and a Business Add-In (BAdI) in the  implementation guide under Clinical System Service Management Patient Organizer/Patient Viewer BAdI for Sorting in Patient Organizer to select the data.

In this BAdI you can also enhance and/or change the sort order and selection of data in the overview display.
