General Functions
In addition to the functions in the Navigation Area and in the Detail Area there are also general functions such as, for example, saving or changing presettings available. These functions concern both the navigation area as well as the detail area.
The following functions are available in the pushbutton toolbar:

The system shows or hides the display of the chart. |

The system saves the layout of the entire nursing plan such as, for example, the width of the hierarchy of the nursing plan or the height of the chart. Note that you must explicitly save changes to the layout so that the system displays them the next time you access the modified layout. |

If the system administrator has set the organizational unit-related parameter (OU parameter) N1NPUAUTO, the system checks whether you have inserted new items of the “nursing procedure” basic catalog category with cycles since the last time you saved. If this is true the system updates the nursing plan. See Updating If the system administrator has set the OU Parameter N1PFKLPL, the system reassesses the NSR classification of the patient. |

You go back or exit the processing of the nursing plan. |
If you have made changes which you have not yet saved, the system opens a dialog box. Confirm this to trigger the saving of the modified data. Cancel processing of the nursing plan without saving any changes which may have been made. |
Note that the system does not update the nursing plan. |
