Resource Type

Definition

A resource type is a resource template from which the resources inherit their main attributes and qualifications .

Use

The resource type determines which resource element types and how many of them are necessary to compose a resource.

The qualifications of resource types, in conjunction with resource element qualifications, help determine the qualifications of the resources that they form. For more information, see Example: Determination of Resource Qualifications .

Structure

Each resource type comprises of one or more resource element types. Resources of a particular resource type can only comprise of resource elements of the relevant resource element types.
