Example: Determination of Resource Qualifications

After David and Forklift_007 are logged on to form resource 1852, the resource’s qualifications are the lowest common denominator of David’s qualifications, forklift_007’s qualifications and the qualifications of resource type simple forklift, as illustrated in the above diagram.

Each of the qualifications of resource 1852 will have a corresponding priority, representing the preference of the resource to work in that level or working area, or with that handling unit type. The priority is the lowest of:

The resource element qualification priorities, entered via the Resource Element Maintenance wizard
The resource type qualification priorities, entered via the Change qualifications priority monitor method
