Device Service
It is configurable whether hardware devices (printers and EFT terminals) are automatically initialized when the POS starts or not.
The automatic initialization during POS start can be disabled, e.g. to reduce the start-up time.
The hardware devices can then be initialized manually later via the Device Service:
- Press
A list of all available hardware devices and their current status ("Started"/ “Stopped") is displayed.
- To initialize a device, select the device and press "Start"
- To stop a device, select the device and press "Stop"

Handling Device Service Errors
If the initialization of a device fails, an error message is displayed.
- Confirm the message with "OK".
- Select another device and finish the transaction.
