What's New
OneX Item Info
In the context of our new OneX approach and the new technology stack behind it, the item info UI has been reworked and is now available. Depending on the available information, not only is the standard item shown, but also available variants, like different colors or sizes, related images, stock information, and much more. This layout is flexible and will be reduced if information does not exist but also makes it easy to see more detailed information. This always depends on the exact purpose, e.g. nutritional information for food, fashion details, or common grocery-related information.
jxBrowser Separation
The embedded browser "jxBrowser" is handled as a separate add-on from this version on. In addition to the benefit of having a smaller OPOS package, there is improved flexibility and a huge step forward towards a more secure application, as jxBrowser-related fixes no longer depend on the OPOS deployment and can be delivered quickly as add-ons. With this approach, it is no longer necessary to update the complete POS in the event of a new jxBrowser version. Instead, it is possible to simply use the latest add-on.
