What's New
RFID - Add-on Pack Solution
Our existing RFID function with plug-in was migrated to a new Add-on Pack solution that was required.
Printing Service - Support Multiple Countries
The digital printing service manages the generation of electronic (digital) receipts. Usually, such reports are different for each country in order to fulfill the legal requirements handled in the Country Packages. The service has the ability to handle multiple Country Packages and process different report settings, so it can be used for a multi-country approach.
Visual Size of Electronic Receipt
The visual size of the electronic receipt has been improved so that the original purchase receipt, which is known from the printout, is always displayed. The receipt view is adjusted for the optimal width and if you want to print this electronic receipt,
Bonus Points
POS now supports bonus points handling. Registered customers can collect bonus points with each purchase. These points are added to a customer's account and can also be used for payment. It is possible to configure several tier levels (e.g. silver and gold) to operate different levels. Earned points and the account level are visible on the receipt depending on the connected backend system or loyalty program.
Certificate Handling
A more secure certificate handling via trust store / certificate authority was introduced as a more technical enhancement. To fulfill this more secure approach, most adjustments are done during the installation of the application itself. All related details are described in the Installation Guide.
