Return of Combo Meals

The possibility to return combo meals was added to the hospitality solution. The current solution was extended by the options to return with and without a receipt and a partial return of multiple combo meals can be done too. When a customer returns a combo meal, only the price for the whole combo meal is visible (item prices are not visible) and printed on the receipt.

New POS Authentication Screens - OPOS, MPOS

Due to an increased security level, the password policy was changed. In this version, alphanumeric characters are supported on the POS. The support for alphanumeric characters (keyboards) requires changes to the authentication screens (Login, Logout, Break, Authorization, POS Group functions). Therefore, the screens were adapted according to the new UX design. Currently, the user has the option to switch between numeric and alphanumeric characters by configuration.

Global Blue Enhancement

Our existing support of the tax refund provider Global Blue was enhanced as part of this release. A mechanism to hide/disable buttons in a tableau based on the state of another button was added for invoice handling and the Global Blue (Tax Refund) functionality. It is permitted to issue an invoice or Global Blue, but not both, so when one button is toggled, the second button is disabled/hidden. This implementation requires changes in the related country package. To speed up the process of issuing a tax refund, the initial pop-up was removed after starting the Tax Refund function because the user can select the information later in the Global Blue Integra UI.
