Destroying Family Member Data Using HRPA_FMLYM
You can use the HR: Family Member
archiving object (HRPA_FMLYM
) to destroy all family member data once a specified retention period has expired. The archiving object destroys data from the infotype Family Member
(0021) and corresponding data from country-specific secondary infotypes.
The archiving object is divided into archiving subobjects. A subtype of the infotype Family Member
is an archiving subobject:
Infotype | Description | Archiving Subobjects |
|---|---|---|
0021 |
| Subtypes of infotype 0021, for example:
|
You can define different retention rules for each archiving subobject. After you have successfully destroyed the data, the system generates a destruction log for each archiving subobject. The system automatically prevents data from being created or edited for this archiving subobject (subtype) for the destruction period.
Country-specific secondary infotypes are also destroyed, for example, from the infotype Family/Related Person
(IT0106) for US-specific features.
Note
The archiving object also destroys dependent data. To display a complete overview of the relevant database tables, choose DB Tables
in Archive Administration
(transaction SARA
).
