Purpose

You use the Runtime Workbench to test and monitor SAP Exchange Infrastructure components. The components concerned are the following:

Furthermore, you can display the business systems that are defined in the system landscape. If these are systems that are based on SAP Web Application Server 6.20 or higher, you can also make security settings for communicating with the Integration Server.

Features

The Runtime Workbench comprises a browser-based interface that is divided in two that you call from SAP Exchange Infrastructure start page that is also browser-based. From here you have overview of the entire system landscape.

You can call information about configuration, for example for monitoring and performance from the individual components. Additionally, you can access the component-specific administration tools.

The Runtime Workbench gathers the information required from the System Landscape Directory, the exchange profile and from the components themselves. For this reason, it is only possible to display SAP Exchange Infrastructure components that are correctly maintained in the System Landscape Directory.

Note

To ensure that the components can be communicated with, the service user XIRWBUSER with the password XIPASS and the role SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER must be available in all of the components.
