You can use the following display options for the statistics:
An evaluation has run at least once for statistics to be created.
You know the worklist number of your translation project.
If you want to display statistics for any collection in the system, not just the collections assigned to your user in transaction Translation Administration (LXE_MASTER), your translator profile must include authorization object COSE with the value 01.
To display the current statistics, proceed as follows:
The Translation Statistics screen appears.
If collections are translated from more than one source language, you can use the input help for the Source Language field to select a specific source language for which you want to display translation statistics.
If you coordinate more than one target language, you can use the input help for the Target Language field to select a specific target language for which you want to display translation statistics.
On the Options tab, maintain the following parameters in the Selection group box:
|
Collections |
The default value in the Collections field is the total number of collections assigned to you for the specified target language. If all translation-relevant collections whose translation you coordinate are already assigned to you, then we recommend that you do not change this default value. This ensures that you display the complete translation workload. Alternatively, choose the Collections button. If the Collections (Restricted Basis) dialog box appears, you can only display statistics for the collections assigned to you. If the Collections dialog box appears, you are authorized to select and then display statistics for any collection in the system. You can now select the collections for which you want to display statistics. Note
If you choose Swap Source/Target Language, and if collections are already assigned to you for the target language to which you have swapped, then the value in the Collections field automatically changes to the total number of collections assigned to you for the new target language. If collections are not already assigned to you for the target language to which you have swapped, the value in the Collections field does not change, providing that you are authorized to display statistics for these collections in the new target language. Note that you cannot swap to target language ****, which stands for all languages. |
|
Object Types |
The default value in the Object Types field
is the total number of object types
defined for translation into your target
language.
Recommendation We recommend that you do not change
this default value, so that you display your statistics for all
translation-relevant object types. This ensures that you display
your complete translation workload.
If you want to display the statistics for a subset of the object types defined as translation-relevant for your target language, choose the Object Types button and then select the object types for which you want to display statistics. Even in this dialog box, you can only select object types that have been defined as translation-relevant for your target language. Caution
By default, the Object Types field displays the number of object types defined for translation into the specified target language. If you then switch the target language to another language, such as from English (enUS) to Japanese ( jaJP), the Object Types field continues to display the number of object types defined for the previous target language, that is, the value does not change. To change the number of object types to those defined as translation-relevant for the new target language, select the Object Types button, double-click Object Types (Object Groups) to deselect all object types in the tree, double-click Object Types (Object Groups) again to select all object types in the tree, and choose Execute. You must repeat this process every time you change the target language to ensure that you are always displaying accurate statistics. |
|
Domains |
The default value in the Domains field is
All.
Recommendation We recommend that
you do not change this default value, so that you display your
statistics for all domains in the
system.
If you want to display the statistics for a subset of the domains in the system, choose the Domains button and then select the domains for which you want to display statistics. |
|
Worklists |
Choose the Worklists button to select the
worklist number for which you want to display the statistics. The
default worklist number is determined by the entry you made in the
Worklist Number field when you maintained your worklist settings.
Note
Note that the number displayed in the Worklists field indicates how many worklists you have selected. The number 3, for example, indicates that you are about to display statistics for three worklists; it does not indicate that you are about to display statistics for worklist number 3. |
In the Display group box, you define how exactly the statistics are displayed:
|
Tree Type |
Choose the Tree Type button to select the
tree in which you want the statistics to be
displayed.
Recommendation We recommend that you use the
default value, which is Domain Collection Object
Type.
|
|
Units |
Choose the Units button to select the
translation units in which you want to display the
statistics.
Recommendation We recommend that you use the
default value, which is
All.
Note
Short text object types are counted in lines. All other object types, such as long text objects created in transaction SE61 and SAPscript forms, are counted in terms of objects. |
|
Hide Objects with Translated Status |
If you want the statistics to exclude objects whose status is translated, select this checkbox. If you want the system to display statistics for all objects, irrespective of their translation status, deselect this checkbox. If you want to save this setting for the next time you call up transaction SLLS, choose Save. |
|
Show Translator Assignments |
If you want to see the names of the translators to whom the selected collections are assigned, select this checkbox. If you want to save this setting for the next time you call up transaction SLLS, choose Save. |
|
Show Graphs |
If you want the option to display the statistics according to translation graphs, select this checkbox. If you want to save this setting for the next time you call up transaction SLLS, choose Save. |
In the Current Statistics group box, check the time stamp of the statistics you are about to display.
If you want to display statistics in the system itself, choose
Display.
If you want to download the statistics, choose .
When downloading statistics from the system, make sure that you have maintained the same decimal notation in your user profile (transaction SU3) as on your operating system.
The system displays or downloads the statistics according to the criteria you selected.
