Modeling Visual Composer iViews for Guided
Procedures
This tutorial shows you how to create a Visual Composer iView and integrate it in the process workflow of Guided Procedures (GP). The integration process is easy and does not require any coding.
● Visual Composer offers an intuitive approach and user-friendly visual interface for modeling user data and interface elements such as forms, charts, tables and others.
● Guided Procedures provides the means for reusing already created components in a seamless process flow.
●
You have
permissions to work with Visual Composer (VC Role). See
User
Administration and Authentication.
●
You have the
appropriate rights to administer Portal Content. See
Portal
Administration Tasks by User Roles
●
You have the
appropriate rights to work with GP design time. See
Portal
Roles.
●
You have
Visual Composer installed on your system. See
SAP NetWeaver Visual
Composer Installation & Configuration Guide.
You are to create and model an iView that:
● Receives and displays information about a personal request
● Provides the means for approval or rejection of the request
You can then expose the iView as a callable object in GP and use it as a step in the process flow.
In performing these tasks you have to:
● Prepare the Visual Composer Client
● Define Input Parameters and Form Elements
● Define Output Parameters and Result States
