Confirm your entries.
When the status is changed, the system carries out a series of checks . If the relevant prerequisites are not fulfilled, the system displays error, warning, or information messages (check log). In this case, you have to make the necessary corrections or add the missing data. You cannot change the status until you have corrected all the errors (you can ignore warnings and information messages).

Continue.
If warning or information messages are still displayed, confirm that you want to change the status.
Depending on the settings, the system then starts a workflow or triggers a follow-up action .

If you are using the organizational measure functions, change the status of force elements using their measure areas.
You are in the
Authorized Materials and Material Packages
application (edit mode) and change the status of the relevant object on the
Basic Data
tab page.
Note
If the status changes to
Obsolete
, the system checks whether any assignments are still active on the key date (and displays a warning message if necessary).
When deleting, the system checks whether assignments still exist. You may have to delete the assignments in order to delete the object. The corresponding material master record (for a material planning object or equipment package) is automatically flagged for archiving.
You can define your own checks using the Business Add-In /ISDFPS/BD_PPE_STAT_CHG. For more information, see Customizing for .
Assignments to the force element
You are in the

).

Assignment of Material Planning Objects to Material Container
You are in the
Authorized Materials and Material Packages
application (edit mode) and change the status of the relevant assignment on the
Items
tab page for the material container.
Depending on the data area, you can change the status of planned deletion or delimitation processes (see Delimiting/Deleting with Status Change ) accordingly by choosing or on the respective tab page.

If you are using organizational measure functions, change the status of planned actions through the respective measure areas.
