Delimitation/Deletion with Status Change By default, delimitation and deletion processes for infotype records or assignments stored using the FORCER framework are only possible in certain cases:
You can delimit active infotype records or assignments. This change is performed directly in
Active
status without changing the status.
You can delete infotype records or assignments in
P
lanned
status
.
In contrast to the standard function for delimiting or deleting , you can use this function to carry out an approval process with status changes for the following data:
Active records of an infotype (object properties and relationships) with time constraint 2 or higher
Note
This applies to the infotypes used in the
Structures
Workbench
, with the exception of infotypes for relocation planning, infotype 1956, and operational/exercise relationships (relationship 822 only can be delimited or deleted with the approval process).
For more information, see Editing Object Properties (Infotypes) and Editing Relationships .
Active assignments (FORCER framework)
For more information, see Editing Material and Infrastructure Assignments or Editing Relationships .
If you delimit or delete active infotype data or assignments, the system does not store this information in the corresponding infotypes or assignment tables, but first stores it in a separate infotype for infotype changes or a separate table for assignments in
Planned
status.
The original infotype or assignment data remains unchanged in
Active
status until you activate the corresponding deletion or delimitation process.
You can carry out an approval process with status changes from
Planned
to
Active
for the delimitation or deletion of
active
records of an infotype with
time constraint 2 or higher
.
While status information is usually stored in the corresponding infotype, the status information for these deletion and delimitation processes is stored in
infotype 6200
(
Planned Operations
) of the
Human Resources
component.
The following fields on the corresponding tab pages in the
Structures
Workbench
represent the data in infotype 6200:
Operation
or
Planned Operation
Specifies whether the infotype record is in an approval process for deletion or delimitation.
Delim. Date
If the infortype record is in an approval process for delimitation, this field specifies the date on which the infotype record is to be delimited.
Status
Status of the approval process for deletion or delimitation.
The status change of the data for the approval process of a delimitation or deletion process in infotype 6200 is performed by changing the status of the infotype whose data is to be delimited or deleted.
When a deletion or delimitation process is activated, the corresponding data in infotype 6200 is deleted. Information about the deletion or delimitation process is subsequently available in change documents only.
You can carry out an approval process with status changes for the delimitation or deletion of active assignments. The status information for these deletion and delimitation processes is stored in table /ISDFPS/FORDEL rather than the corresponding assignment tables.
The following fields on the corresponding tab pages in the
Structures
Workbench
represent the data in table /ISDFPS/FORDEL:
Operation
Specifies whether the assignment is in an approval process for deletion or delimitation.
Delim. Date
If the assignment is in an approval process for delimitation, this field specifies the date on which the assignment is to be delimited.
Status
Status of the approval process for deletion or delimitation.
The status change of the data for the approval process of a delimitation or deletion process in table /ISDFPS/FORDEL is performed by changing the status of the assignments for which data is to be delimited or deleted.
When a deletion or delimitation process is activated, the corresponding data in table /ISDFPS/FORDEL is deleted. Information about the deletion or delimitation process is subsequently available in change documents only.
