 Transferring Training Data (Infotype 0806)

Use

You use the Transfer Training Data application to transfer data that was entered for flights to the HR master data of the relevant persons. The data is stored in infotype 0806.

Prerequisites

If required, in Customizing you have defined the training data in infotype 0806 to which you want to transfer the training data entered about flights. For more information, see Overview: Customizing and Assignments .

  • If you do not define any assignments, the system copies the training data about flights to infotype 0806 as it is.

  • If you define assignments, the training programs assigned in Customizing are also assigned to the relevant person in infotype 0806.

    You can define the rules for transferring training data to assigned training programs using the Business Add-In /ISDFPS/PRORATE_TRAINING. You have familiarized yourself with the possible scenarios for updating infotype 0806.

If required, you have set up the functions for system-generated notifications about new training data.

You have entered and approved training data for a flight. For more information, see Recording and Approving Training Activities .

Features

You can use the following selection criteria to select the training data in the Transfer Training Data application that you want to transfer to infotype 0806:

  • Period

    Enter the period of time that you want the selected training data to be in. Alternatively, you can restrict the selection using the validity period of the persons with the Person Selection Period fields.

  • Selection

    You can select training data about the HR assignments of persons. You can choose the Further Selections pushbutton to select additional selection options if necessary.

The selection results display the training data that is entered for a flight that has been approved but that has not yet been transferred . The following data is displayed:

  • Person /P ersonnel number

    Displays the persons for whom new training data exists.

  • Order

    Displays flights for which new training data exists.

  • Training Program / Training / Function / Status / Additional Function

    Displays the following training programs:

    • Training programs that are assigned to the flight and for which new training data exists

      The values from the /ISDFPS/PM_TP_O table are displayed in additional fields for this training program.

    • Training programs that, according to Customizing settings, are also to be created in infotype 0806 because of the training data.

      For these training programs, the additional fields display the values that are derived in accordance with the Customizing settings. The system determines the Actual value for this training program using the copy rules that you specified in the Customizing settings.

For training data that has already been copied to infotype 0806, the Transfer indicator is selected in table /ISDFPS/PM_TP_O.

Activities

  1. Start the Transfer Training Data application (transaction /ISDFPS/UPD806).

  2. Specify the required selection criteria and choose Execute .

  3. To copy training data to infotype 0806, select the relevant training program that is directly assigned to a flight, a flight, or a person in the selection results, and choose Execute .

    The training data is created in accordance with the assignments in infotype 0806 that you have defined in Customizing.
