 Individual Measure

Definition

Type of organizational measure used to group changes to data made by an individual user.

Use

You use individual measures instead of organizational measures to make individual changes during continuous operation and support these with checks and follow-up actions .

Individual measures differ from organizational measures in terms of the following:

  • You can create individual measures in both Case Management and in the Structures Workbench directly.

  • Individual measures can be processed by one user only. However, they can be transferred from one user to another. A process route is not necessary to do so.

  • You do not need to specify measure areas. An individual measure automatically includes all the measure areas defined for the selected measure type in Customizing and is assigned the relevant statuses accordingly.

Structure

The following properties of the individual measure correspond to those of the organizational measure :

  • Header

  • Case ID

  • Measure Type

  • Object Type

  • Header Element

  • Effectiveness

  • Change Data

  • Related Objects

  • Notes

  • Log

  • Change Documents

The following properties are specific to the individual measure:

  • Person Responsible

The user, position, or organizational unit responsible for this individual measure. The person responsible for an individual measure is also the sole current user . You can forward an individual measure to a different person responsible/user. The individual measure is available in the Structures Workbench only to the person responsible.

  • Process Route

The process route is not used to determine the user for individual measures. Instead, you can use a process route to specify which user is to be informed when data is changed by the individual measure in question.

  • Status

The possible statuses of an individual measure are identical to those of a measure area .
