 Infrastructure Planning Object (Authorized Infrastructure)

Definition

Planning of infrastructure equipment with buildings and pieces of land that a force element requires in order to perform its tasks/missions.

Use

In order to perform their tasks, the organizational elements of armed forces, police, and aid organizations require infrastructural equipment in the form of buildings and/or pieces of land.

In order to equip the organizational elements with the required buildings and/or land or to monitor the current equipment situation, you map the authorized infrastructure (required equipment with buildings and/or land) for the corresponding force element using infrastructure planning objects (object type IPO0). See also Assigning Material and Infrastructure Objects .

You can also use objects from the first or second planning levels of infrastructure planning objects (IPO1 to IPO4) as correction values for the authorized infrastructure.

You can use an authorized/actual comparison to compare the authorized infrastructure with the current actual infrastructure and identify equipment deficits if required.

The following fields are displayed in the Structures Workbench on the Infrastruc. Plng Obj. tab page:

  • Identification / Name of Architectural Object

Storage

These assignments are stored in tables of the FORCER framework .

Integration

You can also display assignments of infrastructure planning objects to force elements using the applications Architect. Object (transaction REBDAO) or RE Navigator (transaction RE80). The Defense Forces & Public Security component enhances these applications to include the object type-specific overview DFPS_IP_SE using the Customizing settings of Flexible Real Estate Management with the BC Set /ISDFPS/BC_RE_RE80_OVERVIEWS.
