 Command and Control Relationships (Position)

Definition

Assignments between positions and force elements/persons that are modeled by means of relationships from the perspective of a position.

Use

Use command and control relationships to define the force elements to which a position belongs and the persons assigned to this position for your domestic base, operations, and exercises.

Structure

Command and control relationships are displayed and edited from the perspective of the selected position using the tab pages in the Structures Workbench . The following tab pages are provided as standard with the relationships listed below:

In Customizing for Defense Forces and Public Security , you can define which relationships are to be available for displaying and editing by choosing Start of the navigation path Organizational Flexibility Next navigation step Structures Workbench Next navigation step Tab Pages Next navigation step Define Tab Pages for Command and Support Relationships End of the navigation path .

You can also change the texts for naming the relationships . These texts override the names of the relationship directions.

Properties

You enter the following properties for an assignment:

  • Name/ID/Code

    Assigned Object

  • Object Status/Object Status (Text)

    The status of the assigned object.

  • Valid from / Valid to

    The validity period of the assigned object.

  • Assigned as of / Assigned Until

    The validity period (to the day) of the assignment.

  • For relationship 805 only: From (Time)/To (Time)

    The validity period (to the minute) of the assignment.

  • For operational/exercise relationships 824 and 827 only: For additional properties of these relationships, see Operational/Exercise Relationships

  • Relationship Text

    A description of the relationship.

  • Relationship Status/Relationship Status (Text)

    The status of the relationship.

  • Personnel Categories tab page only: for Planned Operation / Planned Delimitation Date / Status , see Delimitation/Deletion with Status Change .
