Product Substitution
In SAP F&R you can react to product substitution that has been carried out in the purchasing and logistics system. You can also make product substitutions in the case of substitution assignments with follow-up relationship.
The product substitution affects the following areas of F&R:

Note
If you implement SAP F&R as a point solution
, you must import all the master data and transaction data that is required for the product substitution. This applies to location products also in addition to substitution assignments and switchover information.
