The process desk is a set of user interfaces and functions that enables you to manage processes and tasks and to display details on the process. It belongs to the human interaction management part of SAP NetWeaver Business Process Management.

The following sections explain how to display and work with processes and tasks in the tools mentioned above.

To monitor or manage your processes, you need to be a process administrator and use the SAP NetWeaver Administrator tools. For more information, seeManaging Processes and Tasks with SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

Prerequisites

In order to display your BPM tasks in the UWL and to execute them, your system needs to be configured so that the tasks generated in BPM processes, both on local and remote systems, are displayed in the UWL.

In addition, portal roles need to be assigned to access the UWL in the portal, as well as BPM processes and tasks.
