Main Menu 
The main menu includes options for working with your models, customizing the Storyboard display, and defining general modeling options.
The following table describes each menu item:

Model |
New |
Displays the Create New Model dialog box, in which you specify information about the model that you want to create. More information: |
Open |
Displays the Open Model dialog box, in which you select the model that you want to open. More information: |

Close |
Closes the currently-active model. If there are unsaved changes in the model, you are prompted to save them before closing the model. More information: Closing a Model |

Save |
Saves the changes made to the currently-active model since the last save operation. More information: Saving a Model |

Save As |
Displays the Save As Local Copy dialog box, in which you specify a new name under which to save a copy of the model in the local repository. More information: |

Save All |
Saves the changes made to all open models since the last save operation. More information: Saving a Model |
|
Manage Models |
Opens the Manage Models dialog box, in which you manipulate the models and development components in the Visual Composer development environment. For example, you can create new models and development components, and perform source control operations such as check in and check out. More information: |

Import |
Imports a model from the file system to the local repository. More information: |

Export |
Export a model from the local repository to a compressed zip file on the file system. More information: |

Recently-Used Models |
List of recently opened models. Choose a model to open it in Storyboard. You can define the number of models displayed in the list using the Options pane (). |

Log Off |
Closes Visual Composer. If there are unsaved changes in any open models, you are prompted to save them before exiting Visual Composer. |

Edit |
Cut |

Copy |

Paste |
Not currently supported. |

Rename |
Activates edit mode for the name of the currently-selected element, so that you can change its name. |

Delete |
Deletes the currently selected elements. |

Select All |
Selects all elements on the Design board. |

View |
Task Panel |
Displays the specific task panel that you choose from the Task Panel submenu. |
Console |
Shows or hides the console area. |

Show Task Panel |
Shows or hides the task panel area. |

Zoom In |
Zooms in to display the model elements on the Design board at a greater magnification level. |

Zoom Out |
Zooms out to display the model elements on the Design board at a smaller magnification level. |

Fit Window |
Changes the magnification level of the Design board to fit all elements in the display. |
|
Actual Size |
Changes the magnification level of the Design board to show elements at their original size. |

Tools |
Manage System Aliases |
Displays the Manage System Aliases dialog box, for organizing and reassigning back-end systems from which data services have been added to the model. More information: Manage System Aliases Dialog Box |
Find All Expressions |
Searches for all expressions defined in the component. More information: Find All Expressions Dialog Box |

Service Component Wizard |
Opens a wizard that enables you to model a service component and add data and input ports to it. More information: Service Component Wizard |
