Opening a Model 

Use

You can open models that are saved in the local repository or in the shared repository or a source control system, to view or modify them as required. Each model that you open is displayed in its own tab in the workspace.

Procedure

       1.      Click the Open button in the main toolbar, or choose Model → Open.

       2.      In the Open Model dialog box, expand the model structure and browse for the model that you want.

       3.      Either double-click the model or select the model and click Open.

Result

The selected model opens in its own tab on the Design board.

If the model is saved in the shared repository or source control system and is not checked out to you or is checked out to another user, the model opens in read-only mode. You can then save a copy of the model, with a different name. For more information, see Saving a Copy of a Model.
