Grouping Configuration Objects 

Use

A configuration scenario enables you to group together configuration objects according to their content.

On the Scenarios tab page in the Integration Builder, all configuration objects are displayed grouped according to configuration scenarios. The Objects tab page displays all the configuration objects in the Integration Directory (excluding configuration scenarios).

Prerequisites

You have created a configuration scenario in the Integration Directory or have opened an existing configuration scenario in the Integration Directory.

The Display/Change Scenario work area of the editor contains the following tab pages.

Tab Page Scenario Objects

All the configuration objects contained in a configuration scenario are displayed in two tables.

·        The upper table contains the collaboration profile objects (communication party, service, communication channel).

·        The lower table contains the logical routing objects (receiver determination, interface determination) and the collaboration agreement (sender and receiver agreement).

Each table contains a toolbar with the following functions:

Icon	Function
	Adds an object to the configuration scenario (in a new row in the table) You select the object type from the dropdown list box. This calls the input help for this object type.
	Deletes a line from the table and removes the relevant object from the configuration scenario.
	Calls the dialog Create New Object
	When a row in the table is selected, calls the object editor for the selected object.
	Calls a dialog to enable you to modify the table (for example, add new columns).
	When a row in the table is selected, cuts the selected row out of the table.
	When a row in the table is selected, copies the selected row.
	Inserts an object into the table.

Tab Page Configuration

This tab page displays the configuration overview for the configuration scenario.

You can base the calculation of the configuration overview on two different sets of objects. You can calculate the configuration overview on the basis of either the receiver determination assigned to the scenario or the communication party and services assigned to the scenario. To make your selection, choose one of the entries from the dropdown list box.
