General Functions
Use
The modeling environment for Variant Configuration features a group of general functions. You can use these to structure the modeling process to suit your needs, load existing objects from the database to the modeling environment, or generate objects.
Integration
With the exception of the overview of changed objects, the general functions in the modeling environment are grouped in the worklist. The overview of the changes to the model objects that have not yet been saved on the database is displayed in a separate area on the screen.
Prerequisites
You cannot view the overview of changed objects unless you have made changes but not stored them on the database yet.
Features
The general functions in the modeling environment include functions for:
· Managing the environment and favorites in the worklist
· Loading or creating variant tables
· Loading or creating variant functions
· Loading or creating variant condition keys
