Product Display in the Product
Catalog 
Use
Business partners use the product catalog to display and order products in the CRM E-Commerce Web shop. Products are shown in an overall list view, and from this list view you can select the product to see its details.
Prerequisites
You have maintained products and associated products in SAP CRM in the SAP Easy Access Menu, under Master Data ® Products ® Maintain Products.
You have assigned the products to the Product catalog. For more information, see Product Assignment.
Features
The following details are displayed in the detail view for products in the product catalog:
● product number
● description
● price
You have the following price display options for the product catalog in the Web shop:
○ List price only
○ IPC price only
○ IPC price and list price
You determine which option to choose on the Catalog tab page in the Shop Management application.
You can also use authorization objects to control the display of prices to particular users browsing the catalog in the Web shop. The authorization object is delivered in the standard authorization roles delivered by SAP. You can change the object to suit your needs and thus stop the display of prices to particular users in the catalog. For more information, see Authorization Concept in CRM.
● units of measurement
Base unit and all other units maintained in the product master, denominator, numerator, gross weight, net weight, volume, length, width, and height.
· categories
Category ID, category description, hierarchy ID, hierarchy description.
In addition the following product relationships are displayed in the detail view. These relationships have been assigned to a product in the product master:
· Accessories
If the product has accessories maintained in SAP CRM product they are displayed here. For more information, see Accessory Maintenance in the Product Catalog.
· Related Products
If the product has cross-selling products maintained in SAP CRM product master, they are displayed here. For more information, see Product Proposals in CRM E-Commerce.
· Alternatives
If the product has up-/down-selling products maintained in SAP CRM product master, they are displayed here. For more information, see Product Proposals in CRM E-Commerce.
· Remanufactured
If the product has been flagged as an exchange product in SAP CRM product master, further details are also displayed. For more information, see Exchange Products in the Product Catalog.
