Exchange Parts in the Product
Catalog
You can now identify products as exchange parts in the product master and display them as such in the product catalog. Exchange parts can be returned for a specific purpose after being used by customers. The reasons for this are most commonly remanufacturing or scrapping in accordance with legal regulations. A deposit is often charged when a part is sold, to ensure that the used part is returned.
If a product has been identified in SAP CRM product master as an exchange part, the system displays additional attributes for this product in the product catalog. These attributes appear in addition to the standard attributes as described in Product Display in the Product Catalog.
In the CRM E-Commerce Web shop, the system flags exchange parts in the shopping basket and in the product catalog.
● You have maintained products and associated products in SAP CRM in the SAP Easy Access Menu under Master Data ® Products ®Maintain Products.
●

In the product overview list, two columns are relevant for the exchange parts function:

In addition an extra tab page is displayed:
· Remanufactured / New Product tab page
