Seller Functions
When you log on as a seller to the selling via eBay® (SVE) application, your Home page displays the status of published auctions, the status of finalized auctions, and alerts. On other pages, you can:
· Create, publish, and monitor single auctions or multiple item auctions, and set preferences
· Process payment and delivery via PayPal® or other payment methods and your back-end system
In this document, back-end system refers to your SAP CRM or SAP ERP system.
You have configured the SVE application, and in particular, you have assigned roles to users. For more information, see Selling via eBay® ® Implementation Considerations ® Configuration.
You have mapped users for your sellers in the SVE application to their back-end system users. For more information, see User Mapping.
Set Preferences
You can set preferences to minimize the time required to perform repetitive tasks. For example, if you auction only laptops, you might want to set the default primary category to Laptops, Notebooks. As a result, this primary category is defaulted each time you create an auction. (The categories are standard eBay® categories, and help you to position your listings correctly on eBay®.)
The location profiles, marketing profiles, and shipping profiles, which you can select as default profiles, are defined by your administrator. For more information, see Administrator Functions.
