User Mapping
In the selling via eBay® (SVE) application, you map back-end system users to eBay® users so that sellers and administrators can log on to the SVE application and log on to eBay® from the SVE application.
When a user logs on to the SVE application, the system uses the roles and profiles assigned to the back-end user to determine whether the user is an administrator or seller. The system then directs the user to the administrator side or to the seller side of the application.
1. You have created a business partner.

In the SAP menu, choose Master Data ® Business Partners ® Maintain Business Partner.

Mapping Administrators and Sellers
...
1. Log on to the SVE application as an administrator at:
http://<appname:port>/sve/aucadm/init.do?scenario.xcm=<scenarioname>
2. Choose General Administration ® Map Administrator or Map Sellers.
For information about administrators’ and sellers’ tasks, see Administrator Functions and Seller Functions.
3. Enter the following information:
¡ Back-end user ID
This is the user ID that you assigned to the user created with transaction SU01.
○ eBay® user ID
Assign a user ID for the administrator or seller to log on to eBay®. The eBay® user ID provides application programming interface (API) access to some eBay® data and basic Web site functionality. This requires the eBay® user to have a valid token, which you create in the SVE application by choosing Authorize eBay Sellers.
You need to create only one user and password on eBay® for all your administrators, and only one user and password on eBay® for all your sellers. The administrator or seller logs on to the SVE application using the back-end user ID. He or she can then access eBay® from the SVE application. This means that the administrator or seller does not need to log on to eBay® at any time, though he or she can do so using the eBay® user ID and password.
4. (Administrators only) Enter an e-mail address for the administrator by choosing Modify Notification List.
5. (Sellers only) Enter a valid-from date and a valid-to date, and activate the user by choosing Active.
...
Even if the valid-from date is set, the seller is not active until you select Active.
