Procedure documentation Displaying/Changing or Deleting Subscriptions Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can change Subscriptions when you want to change their assignments to Sites. You can delete them when they are no longer needed for data distribution.

Prerequisites

You must have selected the object type Subscriptions in the Object type selection list.

Displaying/Changing Subscriptions:

Double-click to select the subscription you require in the navigation window.

Both the name of the subscription and the name and type of the subscribed Publication are displayed in the Object information area. The name of the subscription can be changed. If the Template checkbox has been selected, this means that the subscription displayed is a template for subscriptions that should be created and maintained outside the Administration Console. Corresponding records are created for this purpose in the database, which are not taken into consideration by the Replication.

In the Dependent information area the following details are shown on the tab page:

Sites

In the change mode you can now assign additional sites using the Assign (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text) symbol, or you can remove sites that have already been assigned from the tab page using the Unassign (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text) symbol.

Note

Only sites whose type allows the assigned publication to subscribe are offered for selection in Assign. This is dependent on the assigned replication objects that are based on the BDoc types. For creating a BDoc type in the BDoc Modeler you have to enter a valid site type for the BDoc type  Only sites of this type can be assigned to the subscription. See also: Modeling and defining BDoc Types

Caution

If the subscription is based on a publication of the type simple bulk or simple intelligent, the site will not contain any data if the assignment is cancelled. The data is supplied again when a new assignment is made. The data that has accrued for the site in the meantime is lost and cannot be reconstructed by the CRM middleware.
