Bin Management

Purpose

Bin Management manages information relating to the site map of a warehouse and the logical groupings of its physical entities, and provides services related to these entities.

Bin Management has control over the following entities:

Nodes

Zones with different functionalities (such as work centers, P&D zones and empty pallet zones)

Zone groups

Obstacles

Levels

Bin Management also enhances the following Warehouse Management entities by assigning them zones and coordinates:

Storage bins
Storage types
Staging areas
