Define Process Instruction Categories (General)

In this section, you define the process instruction categories you want to use in your plant. For each instruction category, you specify

• The process instruction type to which it pertains

• The information transferred in the process instructions (via characteristic assignments)

When creating a process instruction in the master recipe or process order, you must assign it to a process instruction category. Thus, the settings you make here are used as a reference for the process instruction. Except for the process instruction type, you can change all settings in the process instruction.

Note

Which process instruction types and characteristics you can use depends on the target system for which you define the instruction categories.
