Define process instruction categories

In this section, you define the process instruction categories for your plant and assign them to a instruction type.

The R/3 System supports the following types of process instructions:

The standard R/3 System contains examples of process instruction categories.

To create a process message category, proceed as follows:

1. Choose function New entries.

2. Enter a key and a description for the process instruction category.

3. Specify the process instruction type.

4. Save the settings.
