View Type
A view type is definition of a usage that describes a certain type of patient list and worklist.
A number of functions (function list) predefined in the system is available to you for each view type. You can create a specific function variant for a view from this function list.
Various selection screens are also available to you for each view type.
A specific field selection is available to you for each view type. Layouts enable you to define your own column sequence and sort order in relation to this field selection.
Example
When you modify the selection or a selection variant for a view based on the Preregistration
view type, different selection criteria are available to you than those available for views based on the Occupancy
or Coding Analyses
view type.
View types are predefined by SAP.
The Occupancy, Occupancy Characteristic (Canada), Arrivals, and Departures view types are available to you for the Care Unit Work Station.
The Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility view type is available to you for the Outpatient Clinic/Service Facility Work Station.
The Coding Analyses
view type is available to you for the Coding Analyses Work Station (see Coding Analyses Work Station.)
The Preregistrations view type is available to you for preregistration and waiting list management.
