Procedure documentationCreating Aspects

To structure the patient record, you can also create new aspects for the patient organizer or patient viewer, in addition to those supplied as standard, within the framework of SAP Ambulatory Care Management.

Procedure

  1. In the patient organizer select the menu option Start of the navigation path Settings Next navigation step Create/Change Aspects End of the navigation path.

    Note Note

If you do not use i.s.h.med, you can create or change aspects for the patient viewer in SAP Ambulatory Care Management from the SAP Easy Access screen under Start of the navigation path Hospital Next navigation step Ambulatory Care Management Next navigation step Treatment Next navigation step Documentation Work Station Template Management End of the navigation path in info item processing using Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Manage Aspects End of the navigation path.

The Management of Aspects of Patient Organizer dialog box appears.

    End of the note.
  2. Select Create Aspect (Create Aspect) in the display area of the aspects (left).

The Create Aspect dialog box appears.

  3. Enter the name and the design (e.g. standard display, list display, etc.) and choose Continue (Continue).

    Caution Caution

You should note that newly created aspects automatically receive a key (Technical Name column), which is different from the supplied standard aspects. This customer namespace is protected from changes during upgrades.

The system saves the aspect and displays the header data of the aspect in the Aspect group frame and the assigned view of the same name.

    End of the caution.
  4. You can provide aspects in the header data with a specific mode. You can choose from the following modes:

    • Vital Signs (horizontal progress display)

    • Outpatient Clinic Folder

    • Medication (horizontal progress display)

    • Patient Appointments MED

      Note Note

Depending on the selected function in the views of the clinical work station the system calls a specific mode. Depending on the mode which you selected for the call of the patient organizer, the system decides which aspect should initially be opened. If several aspects are available for the same mode, the system opens the aspect with the highest priority.

      End of the note.
  5. Select a layout for the aspect to be created.

    Note Note

You can select and use an existing layout or change or copy an existing layout. If you do not wish to use an existing layout, you can create a new one.

    End of the note.
  6. In the view assignment area (right) you can assign existing views to the aspect.

See Assigning Views and Grouping Nodes to an Aspect

Select Remove View (Remove View), to remove the assigned views from the aspect.
