Procedure documentationCreating Views and Selection Variants

You create the views and selection variants which will be used in the patient organizer/patient viewer.

Recommendation Recommendation

You need not always create new views for each aspect. You only create different views if the selection variants of the views are different to each other. You can also create different aspects by assigning varying nodes.

End of the recommendation.

Procedure

  1. In the patient organizer select the menu option Start of the navigation path Settings Next navigation step Create/Change Aspects End of the navigation path.

    Note Note

If you do not use i.s.h.med, you can create or change aspects, their selection variants and views of the aspects for the patient viewer in SAP Ambulatory Care Management from the SAP Easy Access screen under Start of the navigation path Hospital Next navigation step Ambulatory Care Management Next navigation step Treatment Next navigation step Documentation Work Station Template Management End of the navigation path in info item processing using Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Manage Aspects End of the navigation path.

The Management of Aspects of Patient Organizer dialog box appears.

    End of the note.
  2. Select the Views pushbutton in the display area of the aspects (lower left) to display the existing views and grouping nodes (left).

  3. Select the object type (e.g. documents), for which you wish to create a view and select Create View (Create View) in the display area of the views.

The Create View dialog box appears.

  4. Enter the name and the object type (if you did not previously select an object type), and then choose Continue (Continue).

    Caution Caution

You should note that newly created views automatically receive a key (Technical Name column), which is different to that of the supplied standard views. This customer namespace is protected from changes during upgrades.

The system saves the view and displays the view information in the View group frame.

    End of the caution.
  5. Select a selection variant for the selection of the data of the corresponding object type (e.g. services) for the view to be created.

    Example Example

You wish to create a view which displays all the objects of a specific department. You enter selection variants for the individual folders, which save these selection parameters. In chronological views you can limit the time-based selection and the grouping level using selection variant.

In the selection variant you define (report RN1PATORG_ in combination with the object type) how the data should be selected for display in the patient organizer or patient viewer (e.g. all services of institution A over the period of the last two years).

    End of the example.

    Note Note

You can select and use an existing selection variant or change or copy an existing selection variant. If you do not wish to use an existing selection variant, you can create a new one.

    End of the note.
  6. Select a display class which determines how the individual object should be displayed in the detail display in the patient organizer or patient viewer, e.g. display documents in print preview.

  7. Save the view.
