Collective Processing in Planning Grid
Collective processing is used to process several appointments simultaneously (in one work step).
Collective processing simplifies the processing of appointments if, for example, one or more resources are not available on the specific day of the planned appointments.
Example
You must move several appointments on a day because the attending physician is sick or because the device for the treatment in the corresponding treatment room is defective.
You can move or cancel several appointments of appointment blocks (several appointments with the same planning object on the same day) or change the team for these appointments.
Collective processing is available in the planning grid for the following functions:
Display Appointments
The system displays the appointments in a loop, i.e. one after the other. To see the next appointment, choose
(Cancel
).
To call collective processing for the corresponding function, select:
Several appointments:
You select multiple appointments by holding CTRL and clicking on the desired appointments. The system highlights all selected appointments with a black frame.
Caution
If you scroll on the time grid, the selection is removed as soon as at least one selected appointment disappears from the visible area of the time grid.
An appointment block or time area:
You select several appointments or a time area of appointments with the same planning object (e.g. room) of the same day by holding Shift and dragging the mouse cursor across the desired appointments or by holding Shift and clicking on a start time and then on an end time.
Note
The start and end time of the selection of an appointment block or time area or area must not correspond to the start and end time of the appointments, but can be selected within the time grid (in the same way as selecting an appointment block in visit scheduling of SAP Patient Management).
For the called function (e.g. change appointment) the system uses all appointments which lie completely within the selected appointment block or time area.
You should note that for technical reasons (unlike in Windows standard) you must first press and hold Shift before you select an appointment block or time area by clicking with the left mouse button.
Note
You should also note that you can only create multiple selections which consist of day-based and time-based appointments, using individual selections (clicking and CTRL).
