Procedure documentationChanging Appointments in Planning Grid

You can use this function to move one or more appointments (or appointment blocks). See Moving an Appointment Block

You can change any appointment which can still be planned. An appointment can still be planned, providing no movement exists for the appointment and no services for this appointment have been performed or released.

You can convert day-based appointments into time-based appointments and vice versa. See Convert Appointment

Note Note

You can enter a new appointment time for the service. The other services are to be performed at the existing appointment time. To do this, select a service and double-click to select the required appointment time. The system creates a new appointment for the service at the required time. The other services remain connected to the original appointment. See Find MED Appointment

If a desired time is available for a planning step (e.g. from the appointment template of the clinical order) the system will only preset this desired time as the appointment time, if it is in the future. If the desired time is in the past, the system will automatically preset the system time for this planning step.

These functions are available to you if you have activated the business function Clinical System Situation-Based Clinical Documentation (ISHMED_SCD).

End of the note.

Procedure

  1. Select the desired appointment(s) in the time grid and drag them to a new appointment (Drag&Drop) or select Change Appointment.

    Note Note

If you wish to select several individual appointments, or one appointment block (time area or area for day-based appointments), you should consider the options for multiple selection in collective processing.

See Collective Processing in Planning Grid

    End of the note.

If you choose Change Appointment to change the appointment(s), the Maintain Appointment dialog box appears.

Change the necessary data in this dialog box and save the appointment data.

If you select multiple appointments, the system displays them in the Maintain Appointment dialog box in a loop, i.e. once you have saved the first changed appointment, you can then change the second appointment, etc.

  2. The system changes the appointment in the Time Grid and in the Patient Appointments screen area.
