The USER_ALERT notifications include the following complementary information about the original event:
| Key | Definition | |
|---|---|---|
| serviceProvider | The service provider of the subscriber account | |
| subscriberAccountCode | The identifier of the subscriber account | |
| code | The code that identifies the user alert. This code is set in an alert triggering operator of price plan (or charging plan or refill logic). | |
| message | The text message describing the user alert | |
| properties | A list of properties that give additional information about the user alert. The list is set in the Alert Triggering operator. | |
During the charging process or refilling process, the SAP CC Core Server system sends
a USER_ALERT notification when executing a price plan, a charging plan, or
the refill logic that includes an alert triggering operator.
This price plan is included in a charge customized in a charge plan (or an offer)
and activated in a provider contract (or in a subscription).
User alerts are easily configurable in the pricing catalog of a service provider
by adding the 'Alert Triggering' operator component in the
logic tree of a price plan, a pricing macro, a charging plan, or the refill logic.
You can model different reasons: Account check, status of a flag, value of a counter...
The SAP CC system posts the notifications to the Message TCP technical interface. You can configure some filters.
When the user alert is set in a price plan, the SAP CC system includes also the USER_ALERT
notifications in the responses of the
charging operation requests: The rated transaction of the purchase order includes
this notification that can be processed by the
mediation system.
Note
When SAP Convergent Charging is connected to SAP CRM or SAP ERP/FI-CA of the SAP Business
Suite,
SAP CC does not publish these business notifications via the JCo/RFC technical interface.
The default integration does not propagate the USER_ALERT notification to these SAP
components.
You must customize your system landscape by implementing the notification handling.
Use cases are:
You can connect these systems to SMS gateways to transmit the alerts. You must configure your SAP CC system according to the implementation project.
You must configure the service pricing catalog for a service provider to enable this
function.
Refer to the primary help of the SAP CC 5.0 Core Tool user interface.
