Tuning: Bulk Operation Management

Definition

This group includes all the parameters concerning the fine-tuning of the bulk operations.

Setting Up System Parameters

You can set up the following system parameters that are available for different instance types in the running SAP CC Core Server system.

Parameters Summary

BULK_CANCEL_STOP_ITEM_COUNT The bulk modification count before which the operation can be canceled

PNR_BULK_MODIFICATION_FETCH_SIZE The maximum number of items (in the same transaction of the Core Database) to be simultaneously modified when a bulk modification is performed

PNR_BULK_SEARCH_FETCH_SIZE The maximum number of bulk search enquiries that can be performed in a bulk operation

PNR_BULK_THREAD_COUNT The number of threads in the thread pool dedicated to the bulk modifications and deletions

Notes

Use the set command of the SAP CC Admin+ user interface to change the parameter values.
Use the SAP CC Config Tool user interface to set up a complete or partial list of system parameters (restart needed).
