Task Bundle

Definition

A task bundle is a group of tasks assigned together to one resource at any one time.

Use

A resource can be assigned a task bundle in the same way that it can be assigned a single task. A resource can also skip a task bundle. Refer to Skipping Tasks .

Note Note

You can create a task bundle using BAdI LTRM_TO_RQST_CHANGE .

If you have created a group/wave, you can also create a super bundle using BAdI LTRM_GRP_RQST_CHANGE . For more information, see the BAdI documentation in Customizing for Start of the navigation path Logistics Execution Next navigation step Task and Resource Management Next navigation step Tools Next navigation step Business Add-Ins (BAdIs): Task & Resource Management. End of the note.

Integration

A task bundle is created when bundled request items are released by Request Management for execution.

Example

A request involving packing a number of items for a delivery is generated. Thor Nielsen chooses to perform a system-guided pick from the menu of his presentation device. He is assigned a task bundle, in this case a group of picking tasks, followed by a movement to a P&D . Thor performs each pick sequentially, and then moves the items to the P&D, from where another resource moves the item to the packing work center .
