Actual Loaded QuantityThe quantities and materials proposed during loading confirmation are those which were saved in the shipment during scheduling. The materials are displayed at the product and compartment level. The actual loaded quantity is the amount actually loaded into the compartment, which can differ from the amount proposed from scheduling.
You can manually enter information relating to the products, quantities, and temperature, or you can enter readings from Vehicle Meters or Rack Meters .
Choose
Logistics → Sales and Distribution → Bulk transportation → Shipment → Load confirmation → Create/Change.
In the
Create/Change Loading Confirmation
screen choose
Goto

Balance documents
. In the
Balance Load - Allocate Documents
screen you can accept the products and quantities proposed from scheduling by choosing
Edit
→
Activate Proposal
. Alternatively, the products and quantities can be changed (within the constraints of the compartment dimensions).
If any material remains from the last shipment, the prior-to-load quantity can be entered in the Load Bulk screen by choosing Edit®Get prior to load.
Depending on the type of item being loaded, you may have to specify additional information. The following information is proposed from scheduling:
Transport Unit
Compartment
Material
Storage Location
Load Quantity
Unit of Measure
For Hydrocarbon Inventory Management (HIM) materials the following additional information is required:
Temperature
Temperature Unit of Measure
For dutiable materials you must enter the
Batch
(tax status of the product to be loaded) in addition to the information automatically proposed from scheduling.
Because a transfer from one storage location to another storage location occurs during loading, the entry of the storage location from which the product was taken is required. If the material is moved to an intransit storage location during loading, you must enter the intransit storage location, unless it is automatically proposed based on the underlying document. Additionally, if the material is batch managed, you also have to enter batch information.
The system calculates the material quantities during the loading confirmation transaction using the Oil Quantity Calculation function. The pop-up window for Oil Quantity Calculation is displayed for every material/storage location combination.
Entry With Meters
The use of meters allows you to monitor the quantities loaded. The meter calculates the start and end reading as the loaded quantity. If a single meter is used, you can enter the details directly for each line item. The meter start and end readings are recorded, eliminating the need to manually enter the quantity loaded. Alternatively, if several meters are used to load one compartment, the Multiple Meters function allows you to enter each individual reading.
