In the Benefits compomnent, you can destroy data relating to the following business objects when the defined retention period has expired.

  • Adjustment Reason

  • General Benefits Information

  • Benefits Medical Information

  • Employer Benefits Plan

  • External Organization

  • Highly Compensated Employee (HCE)

Prerequisites

To be able to create retention rules in Retention Management for SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), you need to switch on the ILM business function.

Procedure

  1. Destroy the data using the corresponding archiving objects.
