You can use the HR: Benefit Plans (HRPA_BNPLN) archiving object to destroy all benefit plans infotype data. You should not destroy benefit plans data that has an end date later than the Destroy Until date. Benefit plans data is regarded as person-related data for data privacy purposes. Therefore, because of regulations in your country you may need to destroy this data after a defined retention period is reached.

This archiving object destroys data from the following infotypes:

For every archiving subobject, you can define different retention rules. After the destruction of data is completed, the system creates a destruction log for every archiving subobject and blocks the data creation at the archiving subobject or subtype level.

Prerequisites

You are familiar with the basics of the destruction of data and have made the following settings in particular:

  • You have activated Information Lifecycle Management (ILM).

  • You are familiar with the functions for ILM policies and rules and have defined the retention rules for the archiving object.
