Editing Entry Documents This procedure describes how you create and change an entry document.
In order for you to be able to create an entry document, you must have created the corresponding
waste
and waste generator in the
Waste Management
basic data
or
master data
.
In the
Waste Management menu
, choose
Disposal Processing
→
Edit Entry Documents
The
Choose Entry Document Category
dialog box appears.

This dialog box only appears the first time that you access
disposal processing
after you have logged on to the SAP System.The next time you access
disposal processing
, the system automatically uses the entry document category that you chose last time.

If you mainly display and edit entry documents of one entry document category, you can predefine this entry document category in your user profile.
Choose the entry document category of the entry documents that you want to create or change, and confirm your choice.
The
Disposal Processing Change
screen appears.
Choose
with the quick info
Create
.
Enter data as required and if necessary execute the following procedures:

When you enter a unit of measure in the entry document, note that this unit of measure may have to be converted into a uniform unit of measure for reports such as waste life-cycle analyses .
Save your entries.
You must enter at least the waste generator and waste for each entry document.When you enter a
waste generation
, the corresponding waste generator and waste are transferred from the
master data
(see
Result
section).

If you frequently create entry documents with similar or identical data, you can also copy existing entry documents.
Enter the search criteria for the entry documents that you want to change (see
Searching for Entry Documents
), and choose
with the quick info
Hit List
.
The entry documents that correspond to the search criteria are displayed under
Doc. overview
.

A value is only transferred if the field is empty, in other words if no value has been entered in the entry document.

A value is
not subsequently transferred to existing entry documents, in other words the value must exist in the specified place (
master data
, Customizing, entry tool, or
m
aterial master
) when you create the entry document.Likewise, values that have subsequently been changed in the places specified are
not subsequently read and are therefore
not updated in the entry document.
If the entry document contains a plant and a storage location, a message appears informing you that the entry document still has to be posted .
