Searching for Entry Documents This procedure describes how you use search criteria to search for entry documents in order to display or change them.
In the
Waste Management menu
, choose
Disposal Processing
→
Display Entry Documents
The
Choose Entry Document Category
dialog box appears.

This dialog box only appears the first time you access
disposal processing
after you have logged on to the SAP system. The next time you access
disposal processing
, the system automatically uses the entry document category that you chose last time.
If you mainly display and edit entry documents of one entry document category, you can predefine this entry document category in your user profile.
Choose the entry document category of the entry documents that you want to search for and confirm your entry.
The
Disposal Processing Display
screen appears.
In the
Selection
screen area, enter the search criteria for the entry documents. You can use the following pushbuttons to specify additional search criteria:

You can enter additional search criteria and intervals here.

If you have entered search criteria using
Multiple selection
, only the search criteria
Waste generator
and
Waste generation
are taken into account in the
Selection
screen area. If, for example, you want to have the
Document date
taken into account as an additional search criterion, you must enter it using
Multiple selection
.
Under this function, you can only enterI8900(system status
Created
) andI8902(system status
Closed
) as search criteria in the
Entry doc. status
field. You cannot search for entry documents with the system statusI8901(
Locked
) in this way.

If you enter additional criteria in

You can enter the criteria for the status here. In the standard system, only entry documents that have the system status
Created
are displayed in the search result. You can display entry documents in other statuses by entering different values under this function.

To delete designated entry documents, you can select them by setting the
Deletion Indicator
under

.
If you want to search for deleted entry documents, you must not enter any search criteria in the
Waste generator
and
Waste generation
fields in the
Selection
screen area, otherwise you will not get any hits.

In Customizing for
Basic Data and Tools
, you can specify under
Specify Environment Parameters
the number of entry documents found, above which the entry document search is terminated (environment parameter WAM_DOC_ALERTLIMIT) and the number of entry documents found during the entry document search, above which the system issues a warning (environment parameter WAM_DOC_WARNLIMIT). If the warning is output, you can decide whether the system should display the entry documents found or terminate the search.
For performance reasons, SAP recommends that you enter all search criteria in one area, for example, in
Multiple selection
.
The entry documents that correspond to the search criteria are displayed under
Doc. overview
. Choose

Detail view
to display detailed data for a selected entry document. Choose

Display <-> Change
to change the entry documents.
