The consumer must perform a partial rescan:

  • The consumer finishes their transaction and wants to pay
  • The consumer is informed that they need to perform a partial rescan
  • The consumer provides the fraud detection result
  • The employee scans the QR code
  • The rescan functionality is called
  • The employee sees that 5 items need to be rescanned (0 out of 5)
  • The employee scans one item (1 out of 5)
  • The employee scans the second item (2 out of 5)
  • The employee changes the quantity of the second item to three (4 out of 5)
  • The employee scans the third item (5 out of 5)
  • A successful rescan is visible to both the employee (Employee App) and the consumer (Self Scanning)

The consumer must perform a partial rescan and an item is missing (partial rescan failed):

  • The consumer finishes their transaction and wants to pay
  • The consumer is informed that they need to perform a partial rescan
  • The consumer provides the fraud detection result
  • The employee scans the QR code
  • The rescan functionality is called
  • The employee sees that 5 items need to be rescanned (0 out of 5)
  • The employee scans one item (1 out of 5)
  • The employee scans the second item (2 out of 5)
  • The employee scans the third item and can see that the item was not previously scanned
  • The employee sees a message that the consumer needs to perform a full rescan
