Gift Card Sale (Gift Certificate)

Unlike normal gift certificates, gift cards are reloadable.

Centralized management is mandatory for gift cards, while it is optional for gift certificates.

Centrally-managed gift certificates and gift cards can be sold, redeemed and voided on any POS connected to the corresponding system.

Gift card sale is performed in selling mode. A gift card can be entered at any point of the selling process. To sell a gift card, call the corresponding function. The gift certificate number will be determined. For this purpose, different options are available:

• The gift certificate number is entered manually.
• The number is already printed on the gift certificate and can be entered by scanning.

If the number is entered manually, the following display appears.

• Enter the gift card number and the amount required by the customer, using the numeric keypad.
• As soon as you click on the background, another input field, or the OK button, the input field is checked for validation.
• If the gift card number or the gift card amount are invalid, an error message is displayed.
• The expiration date is calculated automatically.
• The gift card, including gift card number and amount, is shown as a separate line item in the receipt preview.
