In the personal Workflow settings you can define particular settings as defaults. For example, you can define which view is the default view used for displaying work items or the Workflow log. These settings are user-specific.
Some settings only take effect when the work item display or Workflow log is next called.
In Customizing for SAP Business Workflow, you can change the standard values for these personal workflow settings. These default values apply when a user has not defined any personal settings.
Work Item Display
|
User-Oriented View |
Defines the work item display as the default setting. User view is only available on 32 bit platforms. |
|
Classic User-Oriented View |
|
|
Technical View |
Defines the technical work item display as the default setting. |
Workflow Log
|
User-Oriented View |
User view of the workflow log without any technical aspects. This view is only available on 32 bit platforms. |
|
Classic User-Oriented View |
User view of the workflow log without any technical aspects. This view uses the hierarchical list display of the SAP List Viewer. |
|
Technical View |
In addition to the main semantic information, the technical view of the workflow log displays technical numbers and text that would not normally be displayed in the user's log-on language. The technical view is intended primarily for system administrators. |
Other Settings
|
Work item texts in log on language |
All work item texts are always displayed in the user's logon language in the Business Workplace. If the user's logon language is different to the language in which the work item was created, additional database accesses are required that may delay display of the Business Workplace. |
|
Enable forwarding of work items to several users |
The work item can be forwarded to more than one agent. The term "agent" is used in a broad sense in this context. You specify the agent as an organizational object (organizational unit, job, position, user) when forwarding the work item. This organizational object can consist of several persons. For more information, see Forwarding. |
|
(Double)-clicking on an object displays the object in the same window. |
You can choose an object in the work item display, which is then displayed in the current session and replaces the work item display. When you exit the object display, you return to the work item display. If you do not set the indicator, a new session is opened for displaying the object. Note
This setting is not valid if you are working with the SAPGUI for HTML. |
|
Use all objects |
If this indicator is set, all objects of all object types in the Business Object Repository are displayed for the assignment of ad hoc objects to a work item in the work item display. If the indicator is not set, only all objects of all business object types in the Business Object Repository are offered for selection. |
|
Transfer execution to other work items possible |
In the workflow inbox you can select several work item and then choose Execute. If the indicator is set, you can execute suitable work items together. For more information, see Executing Together. If the indicator is not set, all work items are offered sequentially for execution. |
|
No tips & tricks in workplace |
The Business Workplace includes tips and tricks for working with work items and workflows in the work item preview. If you set this indicator, the tips and tricks are not displayed. |
|
No HTML in execution of decision tasks. |
You use this indicator to decide whether the execution of decision tasks is displayed in HTML or not. Deactivating the HTML display may make sense, for example, if you have problems displaying HTML documents generally because of the settings in your local HTML browser. |
Entries in the Technical Workflow Log
|
Display All |
Defines that all entries will be displayed. If there is a large number of entries for an instance, it may take some time for them to be displayed. |
|
Maximum number |
Here you can specify the maximum number of Workflow steps to be displayed. This speeds up the display. |
|
Display only node of last loop pass |
Defines that for each loop, only the nodes of the last loop run are displayed. This speeds up the display. (Additional nodes may be displayed in certain situations in the chronological view). |
Scrolling and Searching
If not all Workflow steps are displayed, the top or bottom line contains icons with which you can scroll line-by-line or page-by-page.
You also have the option of using the icon with the quick info Find to search the whole list for a particular entry. You have the following options, which you can also combine together:
Go to a particular line
If you enter a line and further search criteria, the system searches for the relevant entries starting at the specified line.
Search by date or time
Displays the first entry whose date or time is within the specified values.
Search by status
Displays the first entry that has one of the specified statuses.
