Prerequisites
- You are defined as a coordinator for all languages **** in transaction
LXE_MASTER .
- Your translator profile must include the authorization object
OTTM with the value 01.
Context

Procedure
- Call transaction LXE_MASTER.
- Choose .
The Object Type Templates dialog box
appears.
- Choose
Create new ID.The number 1 (or the next available number) appears in the
ID field, followed by the description
<Template 01>.
- Overwrite <Template 01> with a meaningful
description of the object type template you are about to create.
- Choose
Edit template.The Object Type Template: <ID> <Description> (Object
Groups) dialog box appears. The individual object types are
grouped together under their respective object groups, which appear in order of
translation priority.
- Select the object types that you want to include in the object type template.
You can select individual object types, or entire object groups. To do so,
double-click the object type or object group . If you want to include all object
types in the template, select the top node Object Type Template:
<ID> <Description> (Object Groups). If you want to define
the absolute minimum scope for translation, select object groups A5
User Interface Texts and A6 Table Entries
only.
- Choose
Execute.
The object types you just selected are added to the template. You return to
the Object Type Templates dialog box. The number of
selected object types appears in the Number
field.
- Choose
Save descriptions
This saves the description of your object type template.
- After you have finished creating object type templates, choose
Cancel to return to the initial screen of
transaction LXE_MASTER.
Results
You have created object type templates, which you can now use to activate object
types for target languages.
